Stockist FAQ
The questions shops actually ask before they carry it, answered without the sales voice.
Getting started
What do I need to carry it?
Refrigerated display and an address inside Los Angeles County. That is genuinely the whole list. We do not require a minimum store size, a category exclusive or a listing fee.
How long does approval take?
We answer every application within two business days. If you are inside the county with cold display, approval is usually the same conversation.
Do I have to take both flavours?
No. You can order 30 cups of banana and nothing else. Most shops end up around 60/40 in favour of banana once they have watched a fortnight.
Is there an exclusivity clause?
No. We will not stop you carrying someone else's pudding and we will not promise you we are not down the street either — though in practice we space stockists out, because two shops fighting over the same block is bad for both.
Ordering
What is the minimum?
30 cups per delivery, and the maximum is 500. Order in steps of five, split across the two flavours however you like — 30/0 and 15/15 are both fine. The portal shows a meter against the minimum as you build.
How much notice do you need?
2 days. Deliveries run Tue · Thu · Sat. Order Monday, delivered Wednesday.
Can I set up a standing order?
Yes — weekly or fortnightly, same cups and the same split each time, in the portal under Account. Pause it any time. Most accounts settle into one within a month.
What if I need something last minute?
Call your rep. If it is on the van already we can usually add it; if it is not, we cannot make it appear. Same-day is not a service we pretend to offer.
Money
What are the payment terms?
Net 15 from the invoice date once you are established. New accounts pay on delivery for the first month, which is not a comment on you — it is just how we start everyone.
When does the price drop?
It does not. The rate is $4 a cup at every volume we deliver, 30 to 500, and it applies to the total cups in the delivery rather than per flavour — so splitting an order costs you nothing either. The full table is on the pricing page.
Will the price change?
Not without thirty days' written notice. Dairy and vanilla both move; when they move enough to matter you will hear about it a month before it hits an invoice.
Stock
What happens to unsold stock?
We credit it on the next delivery, within reason. If one flavour consistently does not move at your shop, shift the split rather than keep crediting it — that is an ordering problem, not a returns problem.
Can I freeze it?
No. The custard splits on thaw and the wafers go to paste. 34–40°F, always.
Something arrived damaged.
Tell the driver before they leave — they wait while you count. Anything short or crushed is credited on the spot. If it is found later, photograph it and send it to your rep the same day.
Do mixed orders come separated?
Yes. Every mixed order arrives with dividers between the flavours and a printed count sheet on the lid, so nobody has to sort cups at seven in the morning.
Do you do own-label?
No.
Still want to ask a person?
That is usually faster than reading a page like this one.
